New MTB trails Cafe and visitor hub in Gisburn Forest

Great things have been happening in Gisburn forest. New for this year is the large visitor hub at Stephen park. Situated at the heart of the forest this hub features cafe, large car park and toilets.

During 2013 work has continued to develop and improve the Mountain Bike Trails to ensure Gisburn Forest remains one of the premier MTB locations in the Country.

We have been actively involved in the development of the Gisburn MTB Trails on a volunteer basis Volunteering on the MTB trails (PDF)

Tour de France 2014

The world's greatest cycle race - the Tour de France - will pass within a few miles of Lowergill on the 5th & 6th July 2014 It will be the first time Le Tour has visited the north of England.

The Roses Round Cyclosportive is a tour of the Lancashire and Yorkshire countryside, taking place on Sunday June 12th 2011from Tosside village hall near Clitheroe, Lancashire. 2 routes available, the longer route approximately 75 miles whilst the shorter route is closer to 36 miles. This event is for anyone who enjoys challenging and scenic cycle routes and provides you with the ideal opportunity to explore the beauty of Lancashire and Yorkshire. For more information.
